HTC گوشی جدیدی را به خانواده آندرویدهای این شرکت افزود Wildfire نه تنها
از لحاظ ظاهری بلکه در رده سخت افزاری نیز شباهت بسیار نزدیکی به پیشرفته
ترین مدل این خانواده یعنی Desire دارد با این تفاوت که قیمت آن بسیار کمتر
از برادر بزرگتر خود است ابعاد این گوشی 12×60.4×106.8 میلیمتر است که
اگر کاهش 12 میلیمتری ارتفاع گوشی را در نظر نگیریم در بقیه موارد دقیقا
همان ابعاد حاضر در Desire است. صفحه نمایش Wildfire یک 3.2 اینچی لمسی
خازنی با وضوح QVGA است که صرفنظر ار رزولوشن پائین در سایر امکانات همچون
پشتیبانی از مولتی تاچ همچون Desire عمل می کند. دوربین گوشی ظاهرا تغییری
نکرده و همان 5 مگاپیکسلی موجود در Desire است گوئی که البته هنوز به وضوح
فیلمبرداری آن اشاره ای نشده است. سیستم عامل گوشی نسخه 2.1 گوگل آندروید
است و پردازنده آن نیز از نوع Qualcomm MSM7225 با فرکانس 528 مگاهرتز در
نظر گرفته شده است. 384 مگابایت RAM و 512 مگابایت ROM در کنار کارت حافظه
MicroSD قابل ارتقا تا 32 گیگابایت مشخصات حافظه را در این گوشی تشکیل می
دهند. دیگر نکات جانبی حاضر در Desire همگی در Wildfire نیز تکرار شده و در
اینجا نیز از پورت 3.5 میلیمتری هدست، اتصال پر سرعت 3G، اتصال Wi-Fi و
بلاخره GPS استفاده شده است. HTC قرار است این مدل را در سه ماهه سوم سال
2010 با قیمتی در حدود 300 یورو به بازارهای جهانی ارائه دهد.
